Prince Kasım Is With The Executioners | Magnificent Century: Kosem

Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Sultan Murad learns that his governor has agreed with the physician and sends Emir Çelebi's head to Kösem Sultan (Nurgül Yeşilçay). Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

Poor Kasim. This is very hard to see that one of your son kils another of your son, his brother and he want kill another one. When Kösem heard Ibrahim is alive and she is asking him "Ibrahim where are you?", It is very heartbreaking. So sad scene. Nurgul as Kösem played very well. Ridvan was awesome as well. One of the most perfect and also one of the most saddest scene of this season. That music is best.

Look at how those cute babies and nice children turn out, in both series. Perhaps Mehmet, Hurrem's first son, was lucky to die at 21 after all. All those powerful sultans and their beautiful concubines didn't bring up normal children who would develop into good people with basic moral values, and if there were exceptions, they were either killed or psychologically destroyed by toxic power.

mehmed and kasim were kosem's favourite sons, if they were enthroned specially mehmed instead of usman, then ottoman empire would have continued the golden years of sultan ahmed's reign, but sad life usman and mustafa turned it into dark ages, murad won baghdad and revan and people respected him otherwise he was hated all the time

I never liked Kasim (he was, to say the least, a hypocrite who hugely contributed to Bayezid's death and then kept talking he wouldn't like to be cruel - that reminds me of my beloved Mahidevran from the first show), but this was heartbreaking.
