Summary:

The words of Huy's grandmother about finding a girl... he's at a crossroads, and he has to decide which direction he is going to go. What I love about this series is how realistic it is portraying two people meeting who find something in each other, but society and family and past trauma makes it so impossible to see a way forward. This series is real life, with all of the laughter & tears that life brings.

Whoa! I held my breathe throughout that last scene🥹 The way Bao backed away and that single tear down his cheek was so heartbreaking. The kiss on the forward was just brillant. It wasn't coming on too strong. It was a delicate moment between them. Huy knew instantly, I'm really in love with this man in front of me, only to be confronted by the reality at home and the expectations he knows his sweet grandmother has for him and a traditional family💔 Such a beautifully scripted and acted scene👏

This episode feels like a finale.
The way Bao had actual character growth, ASKING to kiss Huy and then only on the forehead when getting the 'don't know' response was respectful.
The way he sent him home, and said "Goodbye" felt final. Like he was saying goodbye forever to Huy.

The way Huy stood outside his home, teary eyed, thinking about the convo with gma about getting married and having grandchildren, and the way he then entered and CLOSED the doors of the home was also very final. Like he was closing the doors on the possibility of Bao.

Their tears made my heart heavy. Is this the end?
