Cummins 3.9L 4BT. Although it was mainly used to run generators and power bread trucks and other delivery vehicles, the 4BT has become a very popular choice for people wanting to do engine swaps.

Don't forget the 1927 Bentley 4.5 litre. It's a wild 4 cylinder engine that's still abused to this day.

I've always wanted a Scout, but the parts market is too small, so I got a Bronco instead.
Still my favorite out of the 7 cars I've owned. It may not do 0-60 in less than 5 seconds or hold 1G in a turn like my last car, but when it snows I can get anywhere twice as fast as anyone else. It's really only as big as a Ranger, but feels much bigger and more comfortable than it should.
