I'm just getting into palette knife painting and bought the Liquitex Modeling Paste, not the Flexible modeling paste, and I'm going to use Liquitex Acrylics (not heavy body because I couldn't afford them). Golden Extra Heavy Modeling Paste and Golden Extra Heavy Gloss Gel mixed together and then add your colors.. don't use fluid colors use medium body to heavy body paints for coloring your pastes gels mix.
