Enjoyed watching you work again!😅
I spent a good 2 hrs yesterday evening taking out an old pomegranate tree which looked knarly, didn't have good fruit, monster thorns, was in my way and was just time to move on w/o it.
So at 75, after much digging, root cutting, rocking back and forth and crawling around between surrounding plants and containers, I mastered the job and it's gone!
Sitting back this morning inside with my coffee, it did my soul and body good watching you work, so thanks for that!😊😊😊

I believe the plant you were wondering if it was Joe Pye Weed is actually poke weed. I bought some Joe Pye Weed from Home Grown that I’ve been able to get going, they do like quite a bit of moisture to get established. Maybe check Home Grown next spring for some. Hang in there, your garden is looking great!

I have a number of Ryobi gardening tools. They are easy for this 74 year old woman to handle. No more trying to drag electrical cords all over my acre. Have lots of good batteries for them. I will have to add that to my collection. I recently bought their little chain saw. I love it and used it to trim many trees.

Love garden maintenance it always cleans up the garden and gives everything a chance to bloom again. Everything is looking beautiful. Love watching❤.

Looking forward to seeing more of the seed starting process when the time comes! (I’ve seen the ones you have already and they’ve been incredibly helpful.) Beautiful garden as always. ☀️ ⛲️

Good morning. Now that is one big job done and off the list. Well done. The garden clean and refreshed. I feel so wonderful after cleaning up the garden and making the plants able to breath. Yes I do agree that after that work out it is time to cool off and relax. Have a wonderful day.

I've used that same ryobi tool to cut back large daylilies after they bloomed. Worked like a charm and they are all filling back in nicely.

That seedum should have time to bloom too! Good idea. The pink will complement that dianthus if it flushes back too. Nice work!

I love how you keep it real and always you. So many of the videos I watch the gardeners seem to make gardening a competition and that takes all the fun out of gardening.😊 Thank you for sharing! I look forward to seeing your videos.

I never thought to use the trimmer on the grass (instead of the weed eater). I will definitely be doing that now! Thanks!

I felt so bad for you when the branch on the red bud broke! i could tell how much that hurt you! Hugs!

I’m so sorry about the Redbud! Hope it comes back. I have eastern redbud seats. I could send you. Maybe you could teach me how to plant them so that they might actually grow.

What do you do about Bermuda grass to make it not come back? I’m seriously losing the battle. Before your burnout video I had thought I might never get it under control and why bother. It’s too much. Then I decided that my hydrangeas and roses and all the other plants were the reason I would keep fighting the fight.

Just came in from doing some garden maintenance myself. Mainly pruning back some skullcap and angelina. Those two will crowd out my coneflowers if I don't keep them in check. Yes, your purslane is beautiful. Really like your new trimming/pruning tool.

I'm glad to see your red bud coming back, that will be wonderful to get your tree back again! Very cool grass trimmer...I I need one of those! Your garden still looks beautiful. Enjoy the last few weeks of summer before your kiddos go back to school full time!

Looks great, I plan on doing a similar trim in a month I’m in zone 9 b and we are getting 105 several days in the 10 day forecast, my overgrown is where I have tucked in containers to keep alive I’m hoping 🤞🏻you still have a lot of color 😊
