If you want something better than the Nexus 7, wait for the Kobo Arc. It's 1.5 GHz dual core processor has better benchmarks tests. It also is less expensive.: 16GB RAM for $199, has front facing speakers with enhanced software, front facing camera, HD display and is Google certified so it has Google Play and the 600, 000 apps that come with it. It's almost as light as the Nook HD.

hmmm seems to be that the only real winner is the pixel density and the expandable memory slot, other than that the nexus 7 looks to be on top of the 7 inch tablet wars and the kindle fire in second place with this Nook HD in last.

I like the 7-inch tablet market. very competitive, and affordable. i personally think that the nexus 7 is still better than this, running jellybean, but this might take secong place over the kindle fire hd.

I had many devices from the nook lineup and they were all terrible and costumer service sucked!

After one, two or more Nook "devices" you still went back for many? Are you a gluton for punishment? Have not had that experience with my tablet at all, it's been just what I had hoped.

This is unimpressive, I would rather get the kindle fire hd and suggest others to do so... to think I was actually expecting better from B&N.Haha not again. Nook tablet was a fail as will the nook hd become one too.
