“When I was barely a GM”
Yeah like when he’s 9yrs old. No big deal

After this episode, it has become very clear that you guys need a ‘for the memes’ tier. Not openings you should play, but the lols are definitely there.

The Hippo is named the Hippo because you don't have a single piece on the 4th rank, so its like a Hippo laying in the water and chilling. BUT BE CAREFUL. If a Hippo goes wild, it can kill you instantly. The same can happen to an opponent who don't know how to face the Hippo.

The only downside of the Evans Gambit is you can only initiate it once you’re in the Italian Guioco Piano or however it’s spelled

Is there ever a time Hikaru doesn't " kinda agree"

I play the Jerome and it's VERY hard to find the best move after Qh5+. Ke6 is the best move for black and VERY HARD to find!! This is BY FAR the most common line played....

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Bc5 4. Bxf7+ Kxf7
5. Nxe5+ Nxe5 6. Qh5+ Ng6 7. Qd5+ Ke8 8. Qxc5 d6
9. Qe3 Nf6 10. O-O

White then pushes f4 and keeps constant pressure on the king side

I love how the thumbnail for Jerome has Aman on it. He deserves the credit! Never thought it would be this deadly. Im gonna start Jeroming from this day forth. It is all what Jerome ever wanted.

I tried the Evan's Gambit for the first time because of the video today. And all I can say is HOLY SHIT. Dude got blown off the board, I never got such dominating center before. First gambit I ever tried. Definitely deserves it's spot on this list.
