How To Enable / Disable Data Roaming On Samsung Galaxy S23's

Learn how to enable and disable data roaming on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. This will apply to the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Samsung Galaxy S23+ as well.

Data roaming is useful for people moving around in different countries with their smartphones and it's a useful concept to understand if you are one of them.

You can actually enable or disable data roaming for the individual sim cards and also the eSIM on the entire Samsung Galaxy S23 series.

This will work for both the physical Nano-SIM cards and both the eSIMs, whatever combination you have on there.

Enable or Disable Data Roaming On Samsung Galaxy S23's:
Go to 'Settings'.
Tap on 'Connections'.
Select 'Mobile Networks' option from the 'Connections' menu.
Toggle the Data Roaming button on or off.

All good but missing one crucial thing, at least for me. Somehow during my cross Atlantic flight, my Location was turned off. Since my Galaxy didn't know where it was, all of of the other steps failed to enable roaming. Oh, and I had to restart my phone after enabling Location.

Disable,
National roaming only,
All networks.
Do i put it on all networks?

Hello i have a question, i will be traveling out of USA to a country in Latin America, can i switch the sim card from the traveling country to my phone Samsung s23 ultra?

Now if only I could figure out how to disable the pop-up message that continually comes up when I'm near the border. I get the same message (save for on/off) whether it's on or off.

"Attention
Data roaming is turned off. To turn on Data roaming, please go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks. International roaming charges may apply as per your rate plan."
