I feel like nobody talks about the first drop on GhostRider. It is a legendary drop. In the back row, you get yanked over the drop getting amazing sustained ejector while also getting crazy laterals at the bottom. And you’re being engulfed by the structure. It’s so good. At night, I just forget about the bottom of the drop so the laterals are even more pronounced.

The water rides look amazing at Knott’s. Maybe not quite Islands of Adventure, but they’re almost there. Wish I had time to ride them when I went.

The first time I rode Ghostrider was in my very early enthusiast days, and I knew nothing about the ride. I was so shooketh when I rode it for the first time not knowing how amazing it was gonna be 😂

I'm glad to see some love given to Calico Mine Train and Timber Mountain Log Ride! I love coasters like Xcelerator and Ghost Rider as much as the next guy, but these are fantastic dark rides that I feel like don't get enough respect from people.

Im 59 years old love Knotts Berry Farm I remember my parents taking us five kids every 4th of July in the 70s. Not a big coaster fan, but live the whole park. Thanks for posting.

I love samurai ( Thorpe parks top scan) it is crazy, and it was mental when I had one ride at 9pm in the rain it was insane! It was run like a fair ground attraction!

I've only been on Silver Bullet once. And I think it's the dizziest any ride has ever made me. I think it was those final two helices that did me in. I still have yet to ride Hang Time! That's awesome that Knott's is your local park. It's definitely a great one!

Taking my 11 year old son to Knotts on Friday. Although he won’t go on some of the more intense rides, I think this is a good start as he hasn’t been on a roller coaster ever. Hoping he has a love of coasters like me once he has experienced one.

Of the 11 wooden coasters I've ridden: Coaster at Playland in Vancouver and Ghostrider are my favourites, in the back row. Then again, I've never ridden El Toro, The Voyage, Wildfire, Wood Coaster at Knight Valley, Jungle coaster in Bamboo Forest, Hades 360, T-Express, or Shivering Timbers. Either way: Ghostrider and Coaster at Playland are BOTH within the top 10 best wooden roller coasters that exist in the world today.
