Really love the Ferragamo one and have been wearing it tons since I bought it months ago. Havent tried the new Hugo Boss one, but if I am def. trying to get a sample soon. I think the original 'Hugo' is still really good as well.

Ferragamo is pretty nice! Ladies love it! But people.... i got both of Dallas's fragrances.... both are nice, but my fav is Reve Nuit is by far my favorite! I'll even say that it is my number one out of 100+ fragrances! In terms of compliments.... it's a beast!

You really need to try Tiziana Terenzi Spirito Florentino I got it on sale about about $117 and it smells like baccarat rouge 540 but even better

There’s some fuzz noise in the background that just kills my ears.

I've sprayed Hugo on my hand, and to my untrained nose, it sort of splits into two levels. There's the top one which you described similar to what i experienced, but then there's an almost sickeningly sweet bottom level, and to me they are sort of separated. If it were 50% less sweet, I definitely would have bought it. The top is fresh and very interesting to my nose.
Worth noting is the sweetness calmed down after a couple of hours though.

I’ve been wearing that Hugo on and off since 1998...last batch I bought was terrible, alcohol bomb and the scent was gone within the hour. If this is a new formula that performs the way it used to then I may give it another shot.
