The new designed valve is very poor.
It no longer has a 'deflate' option for only allowing air out and not back in.
This means when trying to deflate a large 12cm double, it constantly tries to suck air back in whilst you're pushing the air out.
It takes 2 people to struggle to get this deflated enough to pack away.
