Both have a decent surface and are passable in any 4x4, the smaller lane is a gentle incline to a junction with the second lane which is much longer and mostly tree covered.
Start of byway is either off Roughway Lane or The Hurst
End of byway is on the corner of Old Soar Road/Allans Lane
