To take more than one wife is a Sunnah , providing the husband meets two conditions, 1.financially able 2.equal time , otherwise forget it, just be pleased with one. Dont think about social security to support more than one

I knew some practicing Muslim men they have two or three wives and they all are taking beneft from council and having babies and tell their wives go and ask council to get the house and showing single mum and they say I have a partner and councils people see niqabi women are pregnant wothout the husband and taking partner with them. How ridiculous is this.

According to him, the cost of maintaining one wife/household in the UK is £55K. I wonder how many Muslim men in the UK earn this amount. He should have also concluded that majority of Muslim men in the UK should fast and not even marry 1 wife!

In England, , I can give some insight that the financial implications of being a second, third or fourth wife can be significant. Generally, wife number 1 is the legal wife if there is a valid legal marriage and she is protected financially for herself and any children in the event the marriage breakdowns.Wife number 2, 3 and 4 may only legally have the rights of a cohabitee, which is significantly less and has left some women financially destitute.

Women should educate themselves and understand the implications of polygamy in the laws of the country they live in.

You're not factoring in the risk of divorce. If just one of the wives gets a state sponsored divorce, then child and spousal support will put you in the hole for decades.

Awesome video. In Canada, I think it's about 60-80K CAD to maintain a household, but I think it might be easier to find cost savings for accommodations for multiple people.

The second verse has not been read from the beginning unfortunately: multiple wives is primarily for « supporting » single moms with kids. Important to mention this.

we need to make a movie about "happy" polygamy marriage(on western muslim lifestyle narrative) as an eye opener to international viewer(non muslim/muslim) while we(muslim) know the essence/benefit on "generated" positif livelihood(VS LGBTQ etc)..Cooperation cooperation cooperation
