Here’s an easy recipe for Turmeric Milk, also known as “Haldi Doodh” in India:
Ingredients:
• 1 cup milk
• 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
• 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper (optional)
• 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
• 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan, pour the milk and heat it over medium-low heat.
2. Add the turmeric powder to the milk and stir well to combine. If you prefer, you can also add ground black pepper and ground cinnamon for extra flavor and health benefits.
3. Let the milk simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
4. Once the milk is warm and infused with the turmeric, turn off the heat.
