You know what the most messed up part about that whole situation? LeToya and LaTavia were right all along!! Matthew was the problem, he WAS misappropriating funds and skimming off the top. There is a reason why all the girls-Beyonce included eventually fired him as their manager when they all went solo. And not just them either-he has a very well-documented history of screwing over Artists he once managed. Matthew is a snake.

And I might be wrong, but I feel like behind the scenes he was also manipulating Kelly & Beyoncé to turn them against LeToya & LaTavia. Probably instigating minor catty disagreements they had and blowing them way outta proportion to try and make it seem like parting ways was the only viable solution.

It’s so unfortunate it ended they way it did. They put in the years of work and deserved to be standing side by side Beyonce & Kelly when the Grammys started rolling in, when all the fame really started to hit, to perform on the biggest stages. That woulda been perfect working since childhood together to become the biggest girl group of ALL TIME. They probably would still be together now if it wasn’t for Matthew.
