I found your explanation of question 22 very helpful. I have often regarded many of the last 3-5 questions on a paper such as this as Bizarre, Advanced, Somewhat Time-consuming And Really Difficult Sums (which I shall henceforth refer to by their acronym*), like algebraic probability questions. But this was much worse. The partnering questions in this paper were relatively mild-mannered but this one really made up for it. Without your help, I'd would not have got through it! Unlike some, I see no problems with your working although you did skip through about three substages (including some less-obvious details, e.g. multiplying all the RHS numerator and denominator by -1) in your penultimate rearrangement of the equation. What I do object to, however, is your use of the term, "nice" in describing what for me was the biggest and meanest of the B.A.S.T.A.R.D.S* I have ever met.

Is the working out for the last question wrong cause it’s AC^2 not AC.

I remember not doing the last question in the exam partly cos I didn't have time and it looked difficult. A year later and I look at this question thinking how the hell did I find that difficult. I'm just glad I did good in the other two papers since I got a 9.

In Q10, it says to write the answer in the form ax^3+bx^2+cx+d where a, b, c and d are positive integers. However for your answer you didn't have a positive integer for the ax^3 part of the equation. In the exam would you have to write a 1 in front to show the integer?

At 28:01, you divided both sides by -200. Isn't that incorrect? On the RHS, x^2 (2-*root*3) and -200 are two different
terms. Can't you not do that?
