I’m entering an actual depression because I can’t ollie. Everybody says it’s so easy and to be a real skater you have to ollie. And it’s not even the ollie it’s than I can pop up while on my board

I'm noticing so many new skaters are obsessed with learning the ollie as their first trick. Some even want to get into skateboarding just so that they can ollie. Always good to learn some basic tricks first. When I first started skating in the mid 1980s, I wasn't even aware of the ollie. I started skating because it looked like fun, not to obsess over learning a particular trick. Ollies came later.

Just started skating, got a board for Christmas and can't ollie yet so these are really helpful and made it look like I know what I'm doing when at the skatepark 😁😁🛹🛹
