Prison officer recruitment process and checks need to be done Don't just recruit anyone to make up staff numbers!!!. Resulting in prisons having corrupt officers

Please do not just increase the number of staff for prisons but just recruiting anyone. Look at the applicants back ground!!. They should some experience in this field previously, ex police officer, prison officer, immigration officer, ex military, have had worked in courts etc. The applicants need to have some sort of experience in this field previously. Recruit people that have a degree as well. The recruitmemt of prison officers is not strict at all. If history, back grounds and applicants social media was checked before recruiting them, there would not have had a recent incident at HMP Wandsworth of a lady officer having inappropriate relationship with the prisoner
