The backstories were actually extremely good to me and adorable before sae basically dumped Rin.
I cannot wait for Shidou’s “im gonna come” scene.

Also, a good chunk of what Sae said to Rin after he returned from Spain was cut. Sae didn't just say "then quit" and the whole "don't use me as an excuse to play soccer", but there was more. He called Rin a defective product and straight up crushed Rin's soul. Shit was *brutal*

I'm glad you said that they did the backstory good, cause I feel like it was one of the strongest moments of the s2 so far. It helped me understand their backstory better than the manga did. I guess voice acting really brings emotional moment to life for me

there is no hope right now with how they badly animate the U20 arc and the future episodes animation will be no good as well, it doesn't even matter now if they animate s3 well because they ruined the best arc of blue lock and with this season they also lost most of the anime fanbase that have shifted to manga
