Gotta say, if the number is $14 or less, I would consider that a fairly friendly number for Draisaitl to accept.

He could possibly get a little more elsewhere, perhaps even $15 for 7, but considering he has been arguably under paid for these past 8, to take $14 or lower, would certainly show that he wants to stay and try to win in Edmonton.

It's a ton of cap space, ya, but he has earned it. He is a workhorse, and point producer. So, I hope these rumors are true, and he stays on that contract. 🍻
