The Contagion is even good for DPS on still targets, but that’s not even a fraction of its true potential. If a boss is chasing you, it will charge straight through all of the exploding orbs that the arrows leave behind doing an ungodly amount of DPS and you don’t even have to aim very much.

Favourite one is Eternity cuz its so easy to use it both single and multi target scenario while still having amazing dps, and its mana cost is nonexistent.

I agree the mage weapons are busted, but personally I'd but scarlet devil in s tier as well simply because the steath strikes are capable of shredding every boss in the game

as someone who progressed only true melee and is currently doing a mage i see this as *what I was finally looking for, overpower.*

A cool synergy with the elemental excalibur is to enchant it with "tainted" which replaces the projectile throwing abilities and replaces it with two true melee weapons. This essentially doubles the damage of it making it deal (with accesories and demonshade armor) up to 600, 000 dps. I beat nameless deity like that skipping most of it's phases in one cycle. It is probably the best weapon in calamity as a whole
