The rear seat cup holder goes on the floor. It’s meant to be removable if that 3rd person hits the back for comfortability. Also the trunk cargo floor can be lowered for extra space. The trunk cover can also be lowered and stored vertically very easily by removing the string loops off . (2024 owner)

This isn't a car for someone looking for frills or has a large family. If you need something affordable and reliable, this is your car. I hate huge suvs and I'm tall so hate small sedans. I knew I'd be looking for a compact suv. The kia soul was the only close 2nd option I had in mind, but I hate how it looks. So, this compact suv is just perfect for me. I love it. I've had it over 7 months. The safety features are nice. It gets me where I need to go without breaking the bank. The media system is great and it's so simple to use. Idk if he mentioned android auto, but it makes it so easy for me to make calls and respond to texts while getting directions and listening to my favorite music. I'm constantly traveling to different locations for work and responding to texts and calls on the road so this is important for me. Plus, the sunroof is a nice touch. The remote start is great for winter months. I know it's basic, but if you just want your basic needs met for cheap, this is your car. Idk if he mentioned, but you also get a 10 year warranty. That, the small size, the affordability, and the reliability of hyundai is what sold me.

Thanks Mike very good review. My neighbor is thinking about leasing one after Elantra lease is up in 5 months. Hyundai has some nice colors if your not digging the Green Apple 🍏 .😮😮

I'm torn. I prefer the size of the Kia Soul, its larger yet not thirstier engine, and its higher-quality interior with soft-touch materials, but I much prefer the design of the Venue inside and out. It looks a bit more conventional. I noticed that the Venue is only about $700 cheaper when comparably equipped, which leads me to feel like the Venue is overpriced. There should be a much larger price difference.

A friend of mine recently got one of these, in red, and of course I asked her if I can drive it. Now I'm 6'3'' and 220 lbs and I fit into it with zero issues. I was shocked at how roomy it was on the inside. One thing I didn't like, however, was the gas pedal. It felt super soft and it actually felt like nothing was happening until I hit it at least 50%. Now I know this isn't a performance car, and I'm totally fine with that. My daily is a Corolla. What did you think about the gas pedal, Chabby?

Some reasons to consider this little car: No turbo, port injection not GDI, No stop /start, timing chain
