I actually agree that Lódz can be ugly, but they are doing an amazing job to restore the several old and careless buildings to restore it and, with addiction to it, to some of the large number of buildings there that are a bit more recent that are just ugly because of the minimalism. And even those that are more recent, they are doing some work on, in order to make it look more classic, which is the secret of some polish cities that make them beautiful. Which is the perfect balance of old and colorful buildings. Can't wait to see Lódz in the future!

Having Tom OUT of the US for these videos makes for a great contrast that I'm not used to. Comparing everything from the architecture to city planning between Europe (especially eastern Europe) and the US is interesting.

Piękne miasto, moim zdaniem o wiele przyjemniejsze niż taki Kraków. Myślę po studiach sie tam wyprowadzić ciekawe jak się rozwinie przez te lata. Liczę na renowacje tych ruin i budowa nieco większych budynków w centrum, lepsze połączenia transportu po mieście.
