You'd never think a three piece guitar band could sound so big, lush & wide open...but I guess we're coming to expect this from any of Carl's magnificent trios, aren't we? Cheers gentlemen & thanks so much for sharing...more please!!

I can't say the power conditioner eliminates buzz but it does make the amps and other voltage-related gear run more efficiently.

I believe they are necessary for providing a stable power supply. I've had less that optimum power in places like Spain and my amps sounded terrible! I don't feel the sound is impacted in a negative way at all. And since I use either four amps when I play with my band or five with Supertramp I'm a big fan of line transformers. In some cases they are at the end of my pedal board, in others they live in a rack with some effects.
