Us tech geeks just sit down and do stuff, but then capitalism forces us into doing it for money, so things get twisted and we get twisted, because we still have to look at our self in the mirror and see a good person, so you start defining what you are doing is good, so there must always be a reason why others is bad and deserving of any harm we do, because we are making a better world...

This is the power of Democracy, instead of a single twist able person, WE THE PEOPLE got power. Except USA found loopholes to avoid that people have power with it's two party system, that in a twisted bizarro world forces the voters to choose between worse and really bad. This is why tech seems bad, because you ruined Democracy and don't make any rules on it and you give power to wealth kings.
