Shark PX201 StainStriker - Best New Portable Spot Cleaner?

Shark released their new PX201 StainStriker (Link Below) and they claim it's the best portable carpet and upholstery spot cleaner with the best suction in the business. I test those claims and I give you my take on if you should check out the Shark StainStriker especially with the Shark CarpetXpert being so powerful.

yes the retail formula can be quite expensive thats why I personally use those small scoops that come with like laundry powder to measure out what I use. I personally use Odoban 3 in 1 Carpet Cleaner Concentrate and Simple Green mixed. I do 1 scoop of each and use the yellow Awesome Cleaner from Dollar Tree to treat stains and it all works out perfect!

The sprayer being in the back is smart, it allows you to let the solution soak in better while you use the brush to scrub, the solution coming out too close to the intake results in sucking up the solution before it has time to really work.

I use Tide Hygenical, it works a lot better than the carpet solutions which are all solvent based versus enzyme based, like better quality laundry detergents.

Thanks I got this solely for doing our stairs, a high traffic area thats hard to clean w upright!!. Have a Bissel Pro Heat for the carpet.

I am only watching this because I have cats. They stains they leave are not always easily visible but they reek! It is just good that it is controllable if their box is kept clean (easier said than done for some people)

Mine lasted 3 months, hose broke. Store told me the warranty does not cover wear and tear, end of story.
