According to friends I've got yellow trust factor. I don't cheat and the most toxic thing I've done is AFK when I have a cheater on my team or kill them. Played a few games and nothing was out of the ordinary, business as usual. Still can't help but feel weird about it, I've read some other people have had the same experience. Hopefully it gets solved and/or I can work my way back to green lol

Yesterday, after 20+ years of playing Counter Strike, I’ve had my first match being cancelled by VAC. 4th round, we were leading 4-0, then the message appeared and a guy from the enemy team got banned😮. Wow, it really does exist, VAC that is. 🤯

I have red trust factor since march 2023 meanwhile cheaters are roaming every server without any issues. No I would never use any cheat ever, I didn't queue with a cheater as well. It changed to green IDK when exactly but I still cannot play competitive mode and I am stuck to casual and other modes only.

im having issues with my trust factor. it's gone down apparently according to my teammates. anyone having this issue? it was fine a few hours before the update. or it could be my epic premier rating of 7.5K & faceit level 4 skills!

If you don't know, cheats use masked names (random numbers and letters) which makes it undetected by those "banned software" marks

Whoever thinks trust factor is a good system is dumb.

Reasons:
1. Reporting someone is lowering your Trust Factor meaning => the more cheaters you play against, the lower your trust factor, the more cheater you play against, the more people you report, someone seeing a problem there?
2. People like Hougungagne (sry if i wrote jeffs yt wrong) had a red trust factor all the fucking time… Inventory > 10k, above 10k hours in cs, faceit lvl 10 and global obv. So everyone can have a red trustfactor for no reason, seems like the system is not working how it should
3. cheaters are collecting playing hours faster than you do. Some cheaters get up to 4k hours for the last 2 weeks😂 how? Running multiple games at the same time. And valve counts all hours you play also in other games. EZ
4. Most people dont have a good trust factor. You a bad player? Get reported for griefing etc. => low trustfactor. You a good player? Get reported => red trust factor. With the state of cs, everyone gets reported for every good shot he hits… CS has a toxic community and trust factor is complete ass there.
5. New Player experience… with what trust factor should a new account start? Good Trust? But then all new cheating accounts would have a good one. Low trust? Then new Players would be stuck with cheaters, i think i explained the vicious circle above.

So trust factor system doesnt work, its shit. And who said they made updates to it? I guess the message was just missing in cs2 till now or never displayed. What they changed is that it is displayed now…. Wow, crazy.

And that steam update is laughable since they dont have kernel access😂😂😂 people just dont mean what kernel access means. Steam runs in the user space, cheat runs in the kernel space. The user space is only allowed to see what the kernel space lets it see. The path is like this:
Hardware -> kernel -> user space

So only the kernel talks directly to the hardware. It can manipulate allthe information before passing them onto the user space. Thats just blinding people with flashy new messages🤣🤣🤣 valve are such rats and the player base is hyped over every change, hoping it will fix the situation, badguynessie meanwhile still rage hacking live on yt with rapid fire etc🤣🤣🤣

This change to steam right here could end Tf2's bot crisis if they managed to add and recognize such programs as lmaobox or cathook

New ban warning, Trust factor stuff. The question is, will it stop Cheaters? No. Will "AI" Anticheat stop cheaters? = No, because not the Aimbot cheaters are the problem, the problem is, the people who can smartly use Wallhack in the game. Trust factor, rankings, AI anticheat, all of them compromised, all of them FAILED! Failed, because if someone can use a wallhack, which can't be detected by VAC, then that player going to get good trust factor, and avoidance of AI detection.

The problem is with VAC, is that VAC is not a kernel level anticheat. They should add Battleeye, or something else as a kernel level anticheat with VAC. The reason they need to do it, (Because their teeths marked with a $ ) The reason is, to get more time. If they get more time, it will reduce the number of cheaters, if a kernel level stuff detect a wallhack cheater that VAC AI stuff can't, it will reduce the number of wallhack cheaters.

The reason why wallhack cheaters are the worst: Because no one knows if their enemy cheats or just play the game good.

Also they should ban all people who complain about smurfing, rankings, or toxic people, they should ban them like their two legs not hit the ground until they crash out of the door into the street, after they can bite the stone, Judgement.

Valve just whipping it out and slamming it on the table. I thought it was weird how many players were disconnecting and not reconnecting. Hopefully it's those account locks. They are even meeting them in the middle and allowing them to keep the accounts. More than they deserve.
