Her hair was a beautiful strawberry red, she had pale skin and luscious lips... her smile made me feel validated and I felt alive.

I remember the first date at the cinema, we sat at the back while our lips glanced across each other, we couldn't even remember what the movie was about we were that infatuated by one another. It was paradise...

When I first heard this song I was all like "What a great song to party to!“. Now that I am aware of what everything in this great song actually is about, I just feel empty, even without losing anything.
Not everybody drinks, bc they want to be ”cool“ and to party, some just really want to numb the pain. And this guys is the thing that makes this song so relatable and important.
Stay strong everybody, you are loved and there is always somebody who is proud of you. ♥️
