Tim Story & Tracy Oliver are interviewed for The Blackening, a horror comedy directed by Tim Story and written by Tracy Oliver and Dewayne Perkins, based on the 2018 short film of the same name by the comedy troupe 3Peat. It stars Perkins, Grace Byers, Jermaine Fowler, Melvin Gregg, X Mayo, Antoinette Robertson, Sinqua Walls, Jay Pharoah, and Yvonne Orji. The film follows a group of Black American friends staying at a cabin in the woods where they are targeted by a masked killer during Juneteenth. Stefan Pape asks the questions.The film will be released on the 23rd of August, 2023. These interviews took place before the SAG strike.
