I'm personally staying away from any RV related stocks. Northern Indiana has a very large RV presence in Elkhart county. I had worked at a production facility with 4000+ employees in 2006. During 2008, they eliminated the entire complex and all 4000+ employees. Many of the other rv manufacturers in the area had similar cuts or closures. Elkhart county made the national news for their sky-high unemployment numbers. Thank god I had switch careers from RV to railroad prior to the 2008/2009 recession. Winnebago might be different, but I can't consider from prior knowledge of the cyclicality of the industry at a drop of the hat.

Great content and keep up the good work!

I read that his company ST Three LLC, bought all of the intellectual property of Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes. I just want to know when they are going to reopen that chain.

Greatest side for tracking superinvestors is probably valuesider, you can check history from 2014.

I've owned S&W in the past and it was a multi bagger for me. I owned it when it was SWB, changed ticker to SWHC, sold. It became AOBC, and now it's SWBI again. It's a powerful brand. If you asked a non gun owner to name a brand of firearms, most of them could only name S&W and possibly Glock Let me know if you want to discuss it offline.

ALLY is the old GMAC. It's still disproportionately exposed to auto loans. There is no credit market that's going to get hit worse than auto loans in this market cycle. HUGE mistake not to exit ALLY a year ago, or at least 6 months ago. Should have stepped aside, waited for the credit markets to clear and the enormous distortions in the auto market to work their way through the system before re-engaging. Auto market is going to fall apart in the coming 6-9 months. It's not just subprime, it's prime. Defaults have more than doubled and they're going to double again. Percentage of 30-days and 60-days late on auto loans already is higher than it was in the GFC. Used car prices falling like a stone, repos ballooning, and banks already thinking they can stack the inventory, hold until conditions at auction are more favorable, then unload at higher prices. NOT. GOING. TO. HAPPEN. They are going to get further and further underwater, as that inventory depreciates at 1%/mo. The market for selling this paper (in better times, auto lenders bundle and sell these loans to each other and to private equity and others) has frozen. ALLY and CACC are NOT marking their paper to market -- they're holding it on their books at far above market. They're going to have to write it down to move it. They've already warehoused too much paper. They are going to be in real trouble. This was all extremely foreseeable from as far out as a year ago, but dead stupid obvious by the end of last summer. Holding anyone up as a "super investor" who couldn't identify this and get out of the way, but instead chose to eat it, is really questionable.
