Thank you for the calm, rational analysis of the potential new annual pass program. I've watched other Youtube videos that were hypercritical and reactionary. I'm looking forward to the new program. Disney really needed to revamp it; block out dates was not working. They really needed to do something new and it looks to me this new program has potential.

Keep up the good work! You have a new subscriber.

Aww. I loved the spontaneity the pass allowed. I would go on the spur of the moment. The reservation system seems unfortunately complicated.

Out of all the theme park people I watch on YouTube, you were the best in explaining everything. Other Disney Tubers did explain but you explained each one in a bite size scenario.

On a side note, I heard the reservations are temporary till we get back to normal but even if it isn't, the way you explained that potential bad news made me feel better about it and makes me want to reserve even more.

As for parking, I just hope I can park when I don't have a reservation if I wanted to go to Trader Sam's and DTD.

You’re not the only one out there who never gets their AP emails!

I am surprised that so many people had such an adverse reaction. I never believed the program was going away entirely because a) The park has invested so much into the AP program, and it is a valuable source of income, b) there has been talk about revamping the system for quite sometime and the pandemic gives them a perfect excuse to do it, c) there is a precedence set in that the Tokyo Disney Resort knew they could not service the annual pass holders and ended the program for the time being, and d) I watched your video and I believe that you are pretty spot on with your predictions and observations!

I don’t get these surveys either, but after looking at the options, it’s interesting how they decided to ask what APs value most in such a complicating way. Reservations are gonna be hard to get used to, but as long as I get minimal blockouts and free parking, they’ve sold me. Another great breakdown man.

I agree with your analysis in general. There will be a lot to think about and I'm sure it's going to super complicated like it was before with The only think is that I think the monthly payment will be the standard. I got a survey awhile ago asking about my feeling about a Membership Program that would be month-to-month payments. I think Team Disney Anaheim knows that if you aren't made to make an annual decision, most people would just keep paying monthly without even noticing. Those people that get APs when they get a windfall of money will probably be off and on AP holders anyway. Makes sense since streaming services like Disney+ do month-to-month. Maybe they'll offer a discounted 3-year pass at a locked-in price for only $3, 600. 🤣

I 100% will not buy a pass if I have to fight for a reservation day, We had the premium pass & regularly went spontaneously & spent $$, this would not be worth it for me at all, nope

Hey Brickey! I’ve been enjoying your content and live streams. Keep up the great work. I am an AP holder also as well and looking forward to the new program. I don’t get the emails either for whatever reason. I cannot wait to go back to magical Disneyland. I’m definitely going to ugly cry.

If you are looking for a positive, real talk breakdown of Disney news this is where it’s at! Thanks again for taking a breath and talking through it. I would like to hear your thoughts on what could happen if there is a travel radius or only California at first when the park opens? If we can build a pass, maybe we could design our pass too. The budget is there, because parking 😂 Another great one, thank you!

“They have the money.. because of all the parking” hahahaha that was so funny

All of this seemed crazy complicated until you explained it. Can always count on you to read between the lines for me! Some of the things mentioned are a step in the right direction, hopefully they come to fruition. Parking is such a racket. I blame the ghost of the parking lot DCA now sits on 👻

Solid breakdown of all the new terminology. I might even consider a lower tier AP with reservation windows out X amount of days but summer blackout days will probably keep me in the single/multiple day purchases.

Personally I think, that no matter how good it sounds, being a family of 8, Disney is something we enjoy doing together spontaneously with out worrying about planning a trip ahead of time, that is why getting the Deluxe and signature passes was very convenient for us, its sad that these changes had to be done, for what ever reason . Sure will be missing Disney . This new reservation program wouldnt be convenient for me because what if i wanted to make a reservation for a specific day and there is not enough available spots left for my whole family.

Hi mark. Thank you for explaining the survey bit by bit. It really helped a lot. I also did not get an email of the survey or that the annuel passes are being put on pause. I’ve also been an AP for a while 3 to 4 years, I’ll be so happy when they return.

I had a pass from 1985 to 2015. I’m so glad I’m over going to the parks. I had my time but it just wasn’t fun anymore.
