One hit KO moves have never been good - but is it possible to do well in a tournament with a team built around them?

Wolfey tricking us to thinking it is mainly OHKO when he really just wanted to use his favorite again, Perish Trap

Golurk: What is my function?
Wolfe: You put up this glass pane and then you die.
Golurk: Oh.... no....

Y’all know how people say that “every Pokémon is someone’s favorite”? Mines Golurk, I cannot believe we’re finally getting the Golurk content we deserve

The accidental skill swap taking away No Guard from Golurk, still landing the Dynamic Punch, just in time for Golurk to get Levitate and avoid Glimmora’s Earth Power all in the same turn had me laughing so hard

For anyone interested, it takes 364 seconds for incineroar to appear in a video about hooking up with Dua Lipa

You’ve reached the level of Pokémon where meta and wins means nothing compared to the fun of a ridiculous idea possibly working. I’m here for it.

1:12:55 disappointed the editor didn’t include the team select commentary for game 2. Wolfe trolled them into bringing a bad lead because he knew they were stream sniping.

I think the thing that makes your videos so fun to watch is that you're playing. You're not just bringing the strictly best pokemon to every competition, and you take joy from your play even when you don't win everything. You're not yelling and swearing and angry because your opponent made a good play or has a favorable matchup towards you, you're just having fun and seeing if you can win. I like that.

> Wolfe: "There is legitimately no longer ANY way for me to win."
> Also Wolfe: "Well..."
Every. Damn. Time.

I loved the part when Wolfey said "It's not winnable" and proceeds to win all over the place.

Using sheer cold to knock out pawmot with 1 hp is UNBELIEVABLE overkill.

I’d love to think dragapult is just chilling in the phantom dimension, sipping tea and relaxing in his chair, and then he just starts hearing Christmas music before a literal mountain of snow is dropped on him and he instantly dies 🤣🤣🤣

Watching this live I felt like those 30% accurate Sheer Colds came from Arceus himself to smite the stream sniper with divine punishment, what a wild ride.

Wolfey is having so much fun with this format. The Neutralizing Gas + Toedscruel for fast Spore team, this guaranteed One-Hit KO/Perish Song monstrosity, and then an all Starter Pledge Team... just so much craziness he's been able to use and I'm loving it.

One time when playing on (low) ladder, someone played a team of Pokémon who knew exclusively OHKO moves. All of them were named after different gambling devices. I ended up winning, but I don't think I was the real victor there...

Going to be real, I think the craziest part of this tournament stream for me was wolfe just saying "Alright, if the 30% sheer cold hits I just win here" and then Lapras would nail it even without no guard. I don't think it happened too many times, but I distinctly remember it happening. It was wild.

The Pokémon Battle Revolution commentator would enhance this tournament by a lot (this is always the case, but hearing "Sheer Cold delivers chilling misery" a billion times would be perfect)

Wolfey:OHKO moves ruined competitive play!
Also wolfey: i entered a tournament with a One-hit-KO team

That Glimorra not being able to hit Bronzong with sludge bomb into trying to earth power a golurk with levitate was the funniest thing to ever happen in the game
