This video reminds me of the inquiry continuum: Confirmation inquiry, structured inquiry, guided inquiry, and open inquiry. Inquiry-based learning is asking students to practice what they have learned to explore unknown concepts and unsolved questions. Such teaching strategies can be used in disciplines, like science. I wonder how inquiry-based learning can be used in literacy teaching.
