Escape to the Lake

A get-away to the lake is always a good idea, to just chill and forget about the world for a while. These are our quick views of a weekend at Lake Constance, a lake so large that it touches the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Lakes are always picturesque and adding in the snowy tops of the Alps in the distance and sailboats out on a sunny day, just beautiful!

We stayed in a hotel set in a former Dominican Monastery, a lakeside location. It was just lovely, even if we did have to close our windows at night so we wouldn't hear the neighboring trumpeting swans. So loud! 😂
