This game is a great addition to the many versions of Taiko No Tatsujin! It has much more to offer compared to the Xbox version. Also happy they are still selling dlc for the game separately. I like to own the music!

Since Summer of 2023, they did a major update that added a new 4 Player mode called Run! Ninja Dojo. My previous comment mentioned that Don-chan Band was the only 4 Player Mode akin to the Wii/Wii U versions, but was limited to 20 songs. This mode lets you play ALL songs (plus DLC/Taiko Music Pass that you've purchased) but with party gimmicks such as elements blocking the play field.

Really need to get one of these games as well as the drum set, might look at it during Black Friday

I'm glad I imported the drum for Drum n' Fun originally because the game is just a lot more fun with it. Probably gonna pick this up quickly as well.

For anybody wondering since it wasn't mentioned in this video, the Don-chan Band 4 Player Mode is limited to specific songs. It appeared to be 20 out of the 76 songs (not including Taiko Music Pass.) I'll edit this post with the list of songs available once I spend more time with them (and hopefully I remember to come back, lol.)

Edit: Totally forgot to come back. Here's the list of songs available in DON-chan Band:

POP:
- Natsumatsuri
- KURENAI

Anime:
- Gurenge
- Butter-Fly
- MOONLIGHT LEGEND
- MAKAHUSHIGI ADVENTURE!
- My Neighbor Totoro - Ending Theme Song

Variety:
- He's A Pirate

Classical:
- William Tell Overture
- Symphony No.5
- Three Marches Militaires
- Funikuri Funikura

Game Music:
- Life Will Change
- MEGALOVANIA
- JOIN THE PAC - Taiko No Tatsujin Ver.-

NAMCO Original:
- Donderful Everyday
- BOUKEN BIYORI
- PONPOKO RHYTHM
- Fight Song for Weary Creator
- GEKIUN!SHICHIFUKU Happy Crew

TOTAL SONGS: 20

The whole subscription service thing really rubs me the wrong way.

No Trombones!? :( Haha. I could get into play Taiko again; it's been too long.

I would love to try these but the drums are always so expensive..!

My only gripe with this game is the switch's unmirrored layout so my hands aren't evenly layed out to play unlike the old version on the ps4.

How is the latecny? The previous switch game was pretty bad especially with drum on tv

Why does Kirby keep appearing in this game? Kind of an odd cameo.

Big question on how rhythm games are supposed to improve.

So you gotta pay regular sub fees for this game now? Thanks but no thanks
