Hey guys and what's up MAH is back again with another WWE OMG Moments compilation video

This is yet again another year we're going to cover it's 2002 a very imprtant year for the company and on today we're going to take a look at WWE 100 OMG Moments of 2002

This will be a 2-video series so this video right here covers the first half of 2002 which means the period from January to the end of June and includes clips from RAW and Smackdown and several WWE PPV from the time from Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania 18 to Backlash and Judgement Day 2002

2002 is such a big for WWE in terms of impact on the future on the company I firmly believe that the things happened in this year really influenced what the world wrestling entertainment would come to be . I mean for starter , it's the year where the company's changed its name from WWF to WWE with a the infamous campaign "Get the F out" . You got the brand split 2002 was the year that brand split concept was first launched it was a brand new idea that was first welcomed with opened arms from the WWE audience because they were really desperate for something different considering how the company butchered the alliance angle that was when they started losing a big chunk of their loyal fans who moved on because they were truly sick of the product and there's nothing really interesting anymore to keep watching the show week by week . The WWE has a bigger roster and in order to utilize as much talent as possible , the brand split was a great solution in that time . Another thing to mention is that 2002 was the year when the fans felt that WWE moved on from having Stone Cold Steve Austin as the main guy and everybody else is just below him on the card and they were starting to feature more people on the main event scene like the young uppercomer Hulk Hogan who held the WWE title in 2002 in case you have forgotten that memory . It was also the year that Austin took his b**ls and went home because really he was not keen on how he was booked and felt super unhappy . With Austin leaving and them changing their name, it was really when you realized that the attitude era is dead which brings me to another point and that is 2002 was the beginning of an era called the ruthless agression . Now that segment with Vince Mcmahon and the RAW roster gathered around the ring where he was begging someone to step up and grab the brass ring was silly , it kicked off the new era and what this new era signifies really is that now we have new stars we're so eager to push as the future of the company and these talents are from our own developmental system ; OVW let's create stars from scratch is what this era really was about . First was Brock Lesnar , labeled as the new big thing, who came and just in a matter of 4 months he became a WWE champion , then you got Batista and Orton in Evolution and while John Cena was trying to make a name for himself the hard way really it was trully rough beginning for him , he was almost fired from the company at one point , but he was the one who's destined to become the top star from the bunch Another thing worth mentioning is Smackdown and how great of a show it was specifically after Summerslam .
The show became a must -see television , while RAW had angles like Katie Vick and bra and panties matches .

So long story short , 2002 is one of the biggest years for WWE , to give them credit they took bunch of risks but it was important to make the decisions they made in that year in order to secure a bright future for the company .

While 2002 wasn't as crazy as 2001 when it comes to crazy and extreme moments , they definitely toned down on that , it's still has moments that are memorable to this day . There's plenty of table moments , you got bunch of powerbombs through tables , sick chairs shots most notably the chair shot that Maven received at the hand of the Undertaker at Royal Rumble and The Hardys giving Brock Lesnar the loudest chair shots you'd ever hear in your life , poor Spike Dudley being destroyed by bunch of guys from table spots to just manhandle this poor guy and throwing him around like he's nothing and beating the absolute hell out of his small body . Eddie Guerrero and Rob Van Dam tearing it down in a ladder match . Triple H and Chris Jericho having a stellar Hell in A cell that saw The referee taking the most painful bump of the match which unfortunately was the cause of his retirement . Brock Lesnar destroying guys and proving why he's not a normal human and we all should be terrified of him and highlights from fun hardcore match on RAW

Hope you guys enjoyed this video and stay tuned for Part 2 to come
