The thing that cracks me up is people think that these four cylinder 2.7 L turbo engines are working twice as hard as a V6 would because it’s smaller engine it’s not at all. The turbo makes up for a tremendous amount of power so it’s not even working close to his hard as what a V6 non-turbo engine would be and if you think I’m wrong talk to any mechanic you know of cause it’s a fact, and that doesn’t mean that the turbo is gonna blow up . And it doesn’t mean that the turbo is working any harder than it has to. turbos are made to produce boost. That is what they are designed for. The design of this engine if you actually look into it is designed quite like a diesel. There’s a lot of things in that engine bay that are designed exactly like a diesel engine . Me personally I think this was a solid design, a solid move and an engine that is gonna last for a very, very long time.

Put it in 4 wheel auto and get it in 6s like my 24 Colorado Trail Boss with 2024 Colorado ZR2 wheels and tires does!

The official 0-60 is around 7 second- some loss of acceleration also lies in user error or factors like tire spin

If you wanted speed you're in the wrong truck. These Colorado's are designed to have torque not speed. I have the 24 Trail Boss version and it's great for off-road but I wouldn't take it racing.And I get it you're just showing the 0 to 60 time, which wasn't bad enough to make me not buy it.

To the people whining: if you’re not going to get a off-road truck due to its 0-60 speed on pavement, go get a mall crawler Jeep like every other Jeep owner 😂

Very nice, it'll easily beat any stock midsize pickup currently on the roads in North America. Though it's actually an off-road beast by design.

y’all don’t realize this truck is heavy ash with a 4L so until the turbo spools you’re not getting hardly any power

GM heavily overrated this engine. If I had zero knowledge of this engine I’d assume it was a 2.5 naturally aspirated engine from a few years back.
