Excellent and informative video. I’m still working out where I stand on the question of SwCC so this has been a great aid. Thank you.

You've really taught me a lot, Liles. Thanks for your work.

Very interesting analysis. I think your part on Deng not being some monster who actively wanted to restore capitalism, just that he had an incorrect analysis is very profound (at least for my small brain).

i have a question,
Deng said China did not have the productive capacity to have a prosperous socialist society and they're still in the preliminary stage of socialism, so therefore they needed the reforms to let Capitalism in but heavily managed by the CCP, to develop productive forces and so on.

my question is, was this necessary? why on earth need a second Capitalist transition when China already had the New Democracy Period, was this true that china lacked productive forces? cant they just develop productive forces during mao's socialist era and not under Capitalism?

Hello, I would like to ask for permission to translate the script into Portuguese and add it to the video. I want my Brazilian comrades to watch it. Do you authorize me?

Will you talk about the two infamous policies of Mao and the gang of four? (The cultural rev and the great leap foward).
Also many comrades deem the sino soviet split as THE thing that killed communism in the 20th century. Your thoughts?

Background music with vocals were competing with your voice. My sensory processing issues had trouble focusing on your voice.

I genuinely want to know more about Mao's china. But most of what I know is that he was "a brutal tyrant". I don't want to succumb to western propaganda nor do I want to fall for Chinese propaganda and misinformation

What is your opinion on Vietnam? I’m assuming something similar, as they also had opening up policies in the 1980s

I think Deng was ultimately correct, but only the next couple decades will tell

What is the difference between a people's commune and a commune? Also have you heard of the Soviet criticisms of the communes in China?

I think that Deng was necessary for china. I know that China is state capitalist, but the country's stability is necessary. They( Modern CCP ) saw what happened to the soviet union, and they seek to avoid it's fate. I might as well say that the cultural revolution was implemented incorrectly.It quickly became a period of rival fractions and infighting, as well as violence from the decentralization of the red guard. Populism can be dangerous if it not self controlled.

This may sound silly but what does revisionism actually mean and why is it bad?

Wilful stupidity of this "analysis" comes from understanding of capitalism as a form of administrative organisation instead of as a process of surplus value extraction for benefit of private owners and investors.

This is really good information. It's still hard to form a concrete conclusion on China in general though, and what our stances should be on it. Most people who call China socialist aren't even talking about the mode of production. Everyone seems to understand that it's not socialism. Instead they argue about whether or not it's still on a path to socialism (such as the argument that they're in an NEP sort of phase), as well as arguing that it's still a dictatorship of the proletariat. My instinct is leaning towards the "that's bullshit" position on both of those claimz, but I feel I don't know enough to say for sure. I would imagine that the party is largely run by revisionists with small factions of anti-revisionists, who probably don't have much power.

None of your analysis includes a game-theoretic framework, which is fundamental to modern econometrics.

Marxism=suffer
Capitalism=happy
We need happiness and don’t want to suffer, and Marxism just doesn’t make sense by punishing the good and praising the bad.
It’s that simple why me as a Chinese stand against Marxism and other weird ideologies came from different philosophers’s taste, for me pragmatism is the way to go, less talk just do
