I hate it especially when the smart kid asks a question kind of criticising your presentation and then a whole discussion opens up about it and you're standing here awkwardly just not knowing the answer

Usually Our "smart" classmate usually asks the questions to critize other groups presentation, so now whenever you dont get to be group with the smart kid you gotta do extra research to answer their question to put them back at their place

Honestly, I was this kid. Lol. I felt bad for people who spent time creating and presenting their project, especially when nobody asked questions or showed an interest. I tried to ask at least one question, usually about something simple, just to show I was paying attention.

Most of my teachers have a rule for presentation: all groups must ask all other groups at least 1 question, if not you don't get point for asking question (total point is 10, you will usually lost 2 point). If it's a 1 person presentation, the person must answer 3 questions, if no one ask any question, the teacher will ask (really hard question), so we often prepare questions and give it to our friends or other groups

That's why I always went batman mode and over prepared for presentations when there was a smart kid. Once i presented about the atmosphere and he asked about the colors of the sky and why they were that color. Mind you this is 6th grade but it didn't matter cause i had him beat. I explained everything about Raleigh Scattering. Felt amazing

I remember the time I was that kid bc I didn't want to give my presentation that day so I asked as many questions as possible for every presentation.
