🤪 I just looked in my freezer and I have 11 gallon bags of tomatoes with still a few more in the garden. I only have an 8' x 3' raised bed if tomatoes. Going to make marinara next week when I have time and can it, wish me luck.

The salt shaker brought back memories. Grandpa always took one with him when he went out to the garden for two reasons, slugs and “there’s nothing like than eating straight from the garden so bring the salt”. He always planted two gardens, one for him and one for the deer.

I have grown Contender green beans for 3 years now, love them.

I just harvested two, 30 ft. rows of Cherokee purple, Better Boys, Celebrity, & Golden jubilee tomatoes, along with green beans. Having lots of okra, peppers, squash, cucumbers, cantaloupes too. 👋 from middle Tennessee.

Kevin made me laugh when he pulled that salt shaker out 😆 That butterfly loved to sit on Sara's shoulder.

Hey Sarah, FYI that was a butterfly. Butterflies can bring their wings together vertically while moth wings stay flat like a plane and cannot go vertical.

I transplanted 4 pepper plants to a large container in September to make room for winter crops. I kept them alive by bringing indoors for freezes. That gave me a big headstart on spring peppers.

Kevin instead of taking each on of those dried beans and opening them up, pick them all. Put them in on big pile on a sheet or towel...hit them with a heavy stick gently but over and over. Then take all of the brush away and you’ll have nothing but beans underneath.

Still waiting for tomatoes however I have gallons of zucchini shredded I’m going to try to use it in my spaghetti sauce beautiful garden

I estimate this was filmed last Saturday, 7/31. I' live about 55 miles from you. That was my first good-sized harvest as well. Right before it POURED, LOL.
