Sadly the medical path is a major competitive journey amongst Thankyou for giving us all insight of hiw you are surviving!! Buckets and buckets full of gratitude :)))) take in everything you say and pass on the golden nuggets to my colleagues! For at the end of the day one is only in competition with itself and not each other!!! Blessings and much love in Jesus Christ

I think a good study tip other than "JUST STUDYING" would be to do practice questions. Do every practice question your lecturer may post. If they don't have any, Guyton has great practice questions as does BRS. It's hard to fit them in, when you hardly have time to study, but doing questions is a form of studying when you learn why you got the answer wrong and what you need to focus more in. Thanks for the great video though! :)

Years in the future, Doc Ossareh is still sharing the golden eggs of techniques to succeed in medical school.
Medium text with lecture Notes and use the BRS/Rapid Review for being certain you know all your high-yield.

We have to learn guyton and hall from cover to cover in our med school.

I have to disagree with this author too. Guyton is a great book and the minutiae does matter. If there is one class you are going to be thorough with in med school, it should be physiology.

I wouldn't buy a complete set from one company. If you notice in my videos, I use different companies for different courses. Speak to the upperclassmen and see what they are recommending.

You make an excellent point I try to always remind others about; the brief summary books like the BRS physiology books won’t make sense unless you already understand the material. Those skinny books are great for review, but not as your starting point. Thanks for what you do.

"What are you doing Guyton?" That was classic! And lightning didn't strike you after saying that! Nor me for laughing. Hall actually did an interview where he said how Guyton made him cut his verbiage by half for his 9th edition additions. It's Guytons shoulders we're standing on...

Dude, thanks for these videos. This is the first I've seen, and I'll be checking out the others, and passing them on to fellow students. On the subject of videos, do you have a recommendation on a video series for Physio? And PathoPhysio? Please say you do.

Thanks again, doc!

Started with Guyton and then I turned to Vander! I think I liked the second one more except of endocrine! Here in Greece the university gives us the textbooks for free every semester so I had the chance to study every system from a different textbook!

I'm recently hearing about BRS physiology. Why haven't I heard of BRS before!!!! I'm in the end of my 1st year now and all these time I have studied from Guyton and guide books!! Now, I feel like I read nothing cause Guyton is sooo huge that its impossible to master it. I need to master BRS with the remaining time I have left. :'(

I'm on the 2nd year of medicine and I started studying Vander's Physiology. It's a good book, explains everything perfectly.
