If you want to improve your psychological knowledge in a way that is more fun than just studying and trying to memorise, I recommend reading a popular science book. You will be surprised how often the ideas in these books pop up in your actual course! And you’re far more likely to actually understand these ideas having read about their wider context.

My top 10 psychology(ish) books for psychology students.

When doing a 16 marker, would 3-4 evaluation paragraphs (2 support and 2 challenge) be enough? So with the question at the end of the video, would a strength for neural exp and a weakness for neural exp and a strength for hormonal exp and a weakness for hormonal exp be good?

5:55 Is there a source for the short variant MAOA gene causing higher serotonin levels? My course and psych book seem to only mention variants that cause lower serotonin levels rather than higher. Thanks x

when talking about egger and flynn, you said that it suggests the hypothalamus has a role in producing aggressive behaviour but i thought the amydgala was responsible for the production of aggression?

How are you gonna give an exam Q but not the answer?? Defeats the purpose tbh.
