All 787 Dreamliners should be grounded, Boeing whistleblower says

A Boeing engineer says he was harassed and threatened by the company after raising serious concerns about the safety of its planes.

Sam Salehpour, the engineer-turned-whistleblower, also believes assembly flaws in the 787 Dreamliner mean the plane could fall apart and drop to the ground midflight, and that it should be immediately grounded.

Jennifer Johnson looks at how Salehpour doubled down on those claims during a U.S. Senate hearing.

In order for the Boeing problem to be resolved as quickly as possible, the FAA needs to investigate every detail of the Boeing 787, 777, whichever aircraft assembly line for any hidden flaws that Boeing is concealing.

I believe Boeing can still do better if it complies with the investigation. Otherwise, the next plane crash by another Boeing jet could definitely spell the company's Bankruptcy Chapter 13.

P.S. I still love the Boeing Company. And it is my sincere hope that this issue will be resolved as quickly as possible before matters get worse.

Remember how romantic train travel used to be ? Time to fall in love with the railroad again; comfortable seats, dining car, snacks and a lounge for socializing and sight-seeing, even private state rooms. No more air travel for me. Have to go overseas ? Take a cruise ship, or I'll just stay home.
