You'll get it next time man! 26.2 is such a tricky distance. The first time i felt like i actually nailed it was when i got 6 20+ mile long runs in during the training block. Conditioning my body for that distance paid dividends for me when it came time for race day. Best of luck and keep the positive attitude!

I also did it this year I did 3:39 I was also so broken when I turn miles 15 and the wind dropped 😂 and the way back on the bridge was also painful.
I remember passing you when your talking to the camera I was like that crazy dude can still talked to a camera 🤣 ( I was the one behind you at 5min53 of your video)

I did the race too. Man that stretch from after the first bridge to the turn around point at mile 15 was brutal! Constant wind in your face. I burned up a lot of energy in that stretch, making the second pass over the bridge an absolute grind! Congratulations on the finish tho!

Great content...Thanks for sharing. I was curious how you'd hold up in the 2nd half after only running 20ish miles/wk + cycling. I'd love to see how you'd do doubling your running mileage while slowing down more on easy days to 9min miles. You'll recover better and absorb more of the faster workouts.

Any issues with the Endorphin Elite with foot or toe discomfort? Calf issues? I heard some complain of calf strain and toe flexion issues on longer runs in the shoe which has made me hesitant to pull the trigger and purchase.
