What is motion? What does it mean to move in Physics?

Newton is wrongfully attributed with having discovered the three ‘laws’ of motion, but suspiciously failed to define ‘motion’. Even to this day there is no scientific definition of this enigmatic term. All definitions in encyclopedias and dictionaries include synonyms such as ‘change’, ‘position’, ‘transfer’, ‘displacement’ and ‘movement’. A synonym is a circular definition: no definition at all! Here we iron out the scientific definition to be used in Physics.

So, just to be sure I have this straight, does the thread spin around the atom for every rope of every atom? You didn't state that explicitly but you started talking about ionization to answer my question about the spinning of the rope and thread(s) so I think that's what you meant. And in that case wouldn't every atom be more or less ionized according to that definition of ionization? So the electric thread twirls in situ while the magnetic one goes around the shell?
