The research of John-Dylan Haynes focuses on the neural mechanisms underlying human cognitive processes. His special interests are technical and ethical foundations of mental state decoding, as well as the neuroscience of consciousness, intentions and free will.

Haynes obtained his PhD from the University of Bremen in 2003 with a thesis on the neural correlates of visual awareness. This was followed by postdoctoral research positions at the University of Plymouth, the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg and the Wellcome Center for Imaging Neuroscience at the University College London. In 2005 he started his own research group at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig. In 2006 he became Professor for Theory and Analysis of Large Scale Brain Signals at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and at the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Berlin. Since 2009 he is Director of the the Berlin Center for Advanced Neuroimaging (BCAN). His research has been covered in many media reports (including CNN, CBS, BBC, Guardian, NZZ, Spiegel and Die Zeit).

I've been wondering about an experience similar to this. There is a group of people that read, see, and hear my thoughts using a particular machine. They do this from a distance without any type of connections physically. Has anyone heard of anything like this?

Your cellphone listens to you and it processes your voice and what you are feeling, hence your thoughts can also be translated through your voice. Then you have that facial recognition and decoding of the same.

You cant write memories into the brain with an MRI but you can do it through psychological manipulation. You can also induce false memories using psychological manipulation and drugs.

I work in hospitals where we use these systems to locate cancer tumors throughout the body and brain. Truly amazing diagnostic tool! Yes you can have an idea of that is thought. Its actually a fairly long test. Also the thing weighs around 4 tons. That is the size of the magnet that is required to get the resolution they require.

I wouldnt worry about implanting thoughts using this equipment. I would worry more about Facebook, Twitter, Youtube. Much more effective to get you to think they way they want you to. Facebook did a very interesting study where they manipulated the news feeds without the users knowing. Where they held back certain information in the feed. Like sending happy messages to the group of several million. Then watched the user responses. They found the users responses were generally happy. The same was done with sad messages. The group responded with generally sad messages. The Russians took this to its ultimate extreme... They created a lot of very angry Americans. Interesting isnt it how easily we are manipulated. Now that you know maybe you will see the manipulation. Most propaganda is designed to make one angry or afraid this taps a very strong emotion. Much stronger than happy or neutral emotions. Next time you read or watch something and you get angry afraid. Stop and see what you are being told who are you suppose to be angry or be afraid of. You are most likely being manipulated. Its really hard to that take a step back from the anger or the fear. Take terrorism. How many foreign terrorists have you seen. If you are like most people you have never seen a foreign terrorist and the likely hood you never will. You are more likely to be killed in a car accident than even meet a foreign terrorist. Now I say foreign on purpose. You are actually more likely to meet up with a home grown terrorist / killer than one from another country.

We have a lot of angry people. Angry because of the fear mongering home grown propaganda. The worst kind of mind

I have been mental harassed like this for the past months in Asia, people actually reacting to my thoughts and everyone groups calling me names. when i reported this, i was greeted with the same behavior from the police and pretending one way in English then covering in their language Chinese, which i understand. Please help. i have been in the verge of taking my life and I need to be free form this and stop them from hurting others with this technological torture. I'm just 21 female please help. Im so exhausted and it's taken so long for me to admit this and then in just the first few seconds of research i discovered this is a worldwide thing..How do i get help, I;m desperate

Most people are not at war or criminals . Most of this technology is used for the commercial channeling of persons purchasing decisions and the readers financial gain from your personal fortune. Ie it's used for "wealth transfer " to them.
