@Bulldog-film will be releasing the acclaimed British horror film, THE MOOR to UK Cinemas from 14th June and on Digital HD from 1st July 2024. THE MOOR celebrateD its World Premiere as part of the FrightFest FIRST BLOOD STRAND, August 2023. Directed by Chris Cronin, THE MOOR stars Sophia La Porta, David Edward Robertson, Bernard Hill, Elizabeth Dormer-Phillips.

As a young child, Claire endured the devastating loss of her best friend, who was abducted and tragically murdered. Now, after twenty-five long years, Bill, the grief-stricken father of the deceased boy, devises a daring plan to uncover the truth behind the mysterious events of the past. Teaming up with the enigmatic psychic, Eleanor, they embark on a harrowing journey into the depths of a haunted moor, seeking the alleged final resting place of Bill's son.

However, the eerie moor holds more than the echoes of departed children; a malevolent and sinister force awakens in response to their presence, lurking beneath the very ground they tread. As they confront the tangled web of their unresolved grief and guilt stemming from the heinous crime that shattered lives and relationships, they must brace themselves for what revelations and horrors await them.

Incredible movie. If you just watch jumpscares and think that’s horror skip this one but if you actually like the genre this is a must watch

I've watched it and I didn't find any surprise in it, , so my opinion... It's very slow in developing events and also quite predictable. And when it comes to the supposed "kidnapper" there's a palpable superficiality. I got bored.

A little flat in the whole, somewhat ponderous, but the genuinely errie atmosphere across the Moors throughout the film has clearly solidified the Yorkshire Moors as a terribly desolate and creepy pointless void of existence upon the landscape. The ending was just as desolate and creepy.
