this song describes and captures the emotional life of a human being so well, there is ups and downs literally scattered everywhere in this song. And somehow it just really feels like its close and personal. I like how the ups sound the same but the down parts always sound somewhat different from each other. Cuz thats life, when youre happy youre just happy, but the downfalls are always different. And towards the end they changed it to sound more deeper making it feel like a matured tone. Plus the way it ends is just so nice, its melancholic yet a peaceful one, its an ending to life. Its just so full of emotions, u dont want it to end but somehow your grateful its ending. Your sad that youre leaving this world but somehow relieved its the end, you have so much you havent done but yet youre definitely ready to leave all this behind. idk how he did it, but Michael really made the whole song sound like a person storytelling, the first part it somehow sounds like an innocent child and then towards the middle it sounds like the hectinc life of someone in their twenties and end it with a much mature deep rhythm at the end. This is definitely a masterpiece. This song makes me appreciate life and how jam packed and short it is. When i feel down or sad this is my go to. This song makes me reflect. Anybody who doesnt do their weekly visit here, how the hell ya'll survive.

i like to think that this track "the married life" describes Carl Fredricksen's life—it started happily as he went on adventures as a child then becomes sweet as he grows up with Ellie then transitions to a slow melancholic piano when he loses her then when he met Russell it gradually picks up the happy tune again just like how he found happiness in life again then it fades into calmness as he continues to grow old and reaches old age

I surely hope this song gets passed on to the future generation. This masterpiece is just legendary let alone the movie itself. This song literally says about my life. First is happiness (Being a kid), and as the song goes it gets a little bit darker (Which tells you about your adult life). I don't know if it is just me that is how I interpret to this song. I remember just being young, innocent, and young. Where you were still blind about the real world, and all you want is to have fun. As you get older when the fun is longer there you just go back to your childhood memories, and the fun doesn't really go back but it does feel good for a bit then you go back to the real world. If you're reading this and you are still young. Do whatever you want while you're still a kid, don't grow up so quickly you might regret it later. And to those of my age reading this.
