It's not just for the elderly. I just ordered one for myself. I have multiple sclerosis and I use a rollator. I can't go more than 200 feet without stopping and resting. I also have a mobility scooter, but I never use it because it's just too hard to transport and I'm always afraid it's going to tip over if I hit something. I'm hoping this is going to work for me. It should get here at the end of September.

Edit to my comment: I just purchased one and I wish I could say I’m happy with it, but it’s just the opposite. First, it is not meant for tall people if using the rollator part. I am 6 feet tall and in order to use the handles, I have to bend over. Having a constant backache bending over all the time, does not go well with multiple sclerosis. Since that part didn’t work out so well, I decided to use the wheelchair portion of it. That was even worse. The seatbelt can’t be adjusted, so it’s pointless. When I would point the joystick straight, the wheels would turn in a different direction. The whole thing would go off the sidewalk. If I’d been near water, I would have gone right in. I approached a crack in the sidewalk and forget trying to get over the crack. The device stopped abruptly, and I almost went flying off the seat. I would love to return it, but the cost of returning it falls on me which is about $600 for shipping costs. Maybe I can try to sell it on Craigslist or Marketplace or something like that. Absolutely one of the worst purchases I have ever made.

I bought this and received it a few days ago. I contacted the company because I had a few questions and customer service only takes your name and number but no one called back. The emails provided bounced back as well. There are other mobility companies that sell the exact same device with a customer service support that answers questions that I wish I never bought from Miracle Mobility. Also when I received the box I noticed that my address label was on top of another label for someone in Washington state. I have mobility issues and that is why I was interested in purchasing this.

How far does it go on a charge? 4 miles, 12, 15? (round trip for me to supermarket is 5 miles). What is the lowest speed to highest? I dont mind only going only 4 to 12 mph on a sidewalk. But at corners i need to be able to scoot across the street guick. I live in Tx. No one walks. Cars make righ hand turns on red. They arent expecting a chair crosding (even though they have crosssng signal. So you need to move quick before light changes. Thanks.

Fantastic idea but not many 80years old are able to lift 38-39 lbs in and out car. I use a Rollator that is 18.5 lbs and I am unable to get into and out of a car. Just my experience.

cant take it from the road to a sidewalk, even the small lip on the sidewalk is too high, you will tip forward!!
