The Love and Low Entropy Connection

Low entropy (entropy:a measure of disorder) is the most efficient way of operating in a social system. And, the LCS (larger consciousness system: an aware intelligent low entropy being of which we are a part) is an efficient system.

Cooperation is integral in such a system.

You just analyze it via technological way. 😍
God is your large Consciousness. We are the avatars you are describing as souls that are somewhere else but the souls avatars are projected in our world (earth).
The information the system needs to exist is our feelings and actions.
Moreover, the way of communicating all these information in this conscious system is the Grace of God, or better the Saint Spirit of God.
It's the way that all things communicate.

Love your way because you have understood the Grand Plan of God (we came here as projections of souls enslaved in low energy containers trying to find our way to the source (love, God).

Ones and zeros ARE information. Randomness IS information. Huge amounts of it. It's easy to produce information. The correct word is MEANING. There is no meaning to randomness.

The amount of meaning in information cannot be determined unless there is an INTERPRETATION of it. There is no meaning to crystalline patterns, like "up, down, up, down, up, down". There is no valuable "information" (meaning) there to be found. It's just as pointless as randomness. The interesting stuff happens in between. In between complete order and chaos. This is already known to people who study (mathematical) chaos theory.

When you compress a file (say you zip it) it becomes as random as it can possibly get while still having the same *meaning* as the original file, using a different interpretation. All repeated patterns are minimized. It becomes a much more *efficient* representation. I'd say the ratio between the amount of meaning and the amount of information is what creates *depth*. The more meaning and the less information, the greater the depth.

You can maximize the depth of something by moving most of the information of it to the interpretation (the knowledge bank). One example is vector graphics like SVG files. Lots of knowledge about geometry is encoded within the program that draws the image, while the file itself only contain references to geometrical elements (like ellipses, cubic Bezier curves etc) and a few parameters.

Could consciousness be the program that interprets the information, giving it meaning?

Tom, complimentary dualities (e.g. Good-Evil, Rich-Poor, War-Peace) in their varying degrees are a feature of our conscious experience here on Earth (whether a virtual reality or dreamscape). In fact they are the greatest learning principle encountered on our sojourn. Example, someone must play the role of the villain while the other a saint (a design feature) to fully appreciate each. To say that the villains role is simply entropic (and they need to do better) while the saint is negentropic misses the point. Certainly each cancels the other in terms of maintaining a balance (in the near and far term) between good and evil.
